Tess Liautaud & band in Kristianstad

Kulturkvarteret Kristianstad, Kristianstad

The last time Tess Liautaud visited us was with Ward Hayden & The Outliers – and it was a sellout. Shortly after that, she visited Kvartersklubben, also to a packed house. Now she's back, this time with a full band and an even bigger show.

Tess Liautaud is a Franco-American singer-songwriter based in New Zealand. Her music straddles the line between Americana, folk and soul – stripped-down, honest and with a nerve that lingers long after the last note. Her songs contain echoes of Jackson Browne, the warm melancholy of the Laurel Canyon era and the kind of timeless storytelling that feels both personal and universal.

She is joined by Jessie Rose Shanks , award-winning banjo player and member of The Eastern , one of New Zealand's most touring roots bands. Together they create a sound that is melancholic and warm, rooted in tradition but with a voice all its own.

This is music for those who enjoy strong melodies, intimate stories and concerts where every song feels like a conversation. And with a little luck, the evening may even feature the occasional interpretation of Bruce Springsteen or Bob Dylan.

After two sold-out visits, there's every reason to secure your spot early. Now Tess Liautaud is back – bigger, hotter and with a full band.
